| "The facilities , amenities were good. But we had a problem when we checked in. Our voucher stated breakfast included and the girl at the reception said we have paid less and breakfast cannot be given. After few words she said they would check with the agent and get back to us. We asked the reception few times after whether they had any reply from the agent. They said they were still waiting on it. Late in the night we went to the reception and explained to the gentleman the whole event again. He looked at the voucher again and said as the voucher states breakfast included you are entitle for it and gave us the breakfast tickets. The stay was good other than for the above incident." |

| "My stay at Star City was very pleasant. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable - however, one complaint was that we were unable to open our window to allow in any fresh air. The buffet breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel was perfect, within very good walking distance to Darling Harbour. And living in a casino meant plenty entertainment whenever required! We also went to see Priscilla in the Lyric Theatre - the show was out of this world and the theatre was one of the most comfortable I have ever been in." |

| "We requested a room on high floor with a view. They told us they could not guarantee this but we had a view of tin roofs. We paid extra and got a room a little lower, smaller but had water views for extra cost.
We enjoyed the location, accessible to sightseeing bus and monorail. Walking distance to large mall and Coles Supermarket.
We will stay here again next year but will request affirmation of room with view beforew we accept." |

| "Our stay was very nice and they did accomodate us for extra nights, We found the men staff very reserved, the consige staff very helpful.
If you like gamblin this is the place for you.
Not alot of info in the room but plenty with consige. Easy walking distance of the harbour, plenty to do eat and watch. Over rated because of the casino. " |

| "We had to wait a long time for our car to be returned from valet parking. The hotel staff were helpful and the room was quite nice. We really enjoyed the casino and the dealer on the roulette table was super friendly and had personality. It was an enjoyable stay. Before booking I had read a lot of bad reports about the hotel staff but I didn't find that at all. We could easily change money and travellers cheques with no fee/commission. It was a good stay all in all." |

| "Good hotel, excellent position, room clean and comfortable, but you are not given the standard of room booked, it appears that agent bookings seem to get the end of the rooms available (low budget room), staff on the whole great, reception staff not very helpful, breakfast poor service in fortunes bistro. Would still give the hotel another chance to get it right." |

| "This place is so overated. The best thing about staying here was the view.
This is the first top hotel I have stayed in where you have to actually PAY to use their business centre.
This is outragious when you pay $300+ per night for 3 nights to stay there. I have stayed in some of the top hotels around the world and have never had to pay to use the business facilities.... not even in downtown Manhattan. They charge $10 for half an hour when there is an internet cafe directly across the road who charge $1.50!!!!
Also I thought the $40 overnight parking fee for guests was extremely steep!
The room was ok but no better than a Holiday Inn..
Overall I am very dissapointed with my stay there and will not return in the future." |
