I was in a smoking room as requested, but was not prepared to be inhaling the smoke from the adjacent room as well! I woke in the morning with a sore throat and it was very unpleasant. For anyone who is a non-smoker I think it would be unbearable.
I also had no tea, coffee or even cups in the room, despite it being stated that these would be provided.
I asked for a late check-out on the last day and after returning to my room found I was locked out!
Simple things would make this a much more pleasant place to stay, as the location is great. It just needs updating.

| "excellent. We were given not so much a room as a suite. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed, our only criticism would be that the towels could have been of better quality ie thicker. The service and amenities were also excellent and we were delighted with all aspects of the hotel.
If we were to return to Sydney we would definitely stay there again.
