| "We enjoyed our stay at the Observatory Hotel.
We felt it was bit out of the city with a 15 minute walk to the shops, the people were very friendly and accomodating. Staying there means a lot of Taxi's. But they were always outside the door.
Food and drink was expensive $15.00 for a glass of wine and $15.00 for a scotch, so there would not be too many drunk people at the Observatory Hotel." |

| "Only disappointment was not being able to eat at the hotel restaurant as it was fully booked - despite trying to book 24 hours in advance . I would have expected the hotel to keep some tables available for hotel guests ." |

| "A beautiful and elegant luxury hotel walking distance to the Rocks area and Sydney Harbor. We had hoped for early check-in because our overseas flight arrived mid-morning. Our room wasn't ready, but the manager bent over backwards to get a room ready for us earlier than standard check-in time and even upgraded us to a beautiful and spacious junior suite. The indoor swimming pool (and hot tub) with "starlit sky" ceiling is spectacular! Breakfast (not included in our room rate) was very expensive and not worth the price. We had some problems with the heat/air conditioning controls in our room, but they were resolved. The concierge staff is one of the best we've encountered anywhere. " |

| "Boutique style service in a decent size. Extremely comfortable rooms in old world charm. Pool is to die for. Service is unobstrusive, private and confidential. The major setback is location and limted views from rooms." |

| "Very over rated hotel. Not in a good area. May have some 'old' world charm' but not enough for the cost. More of a posh motel than a 'leading hotel of the world. " |
