"I think that the Carlton Hotel is the best accommodation in Sydney, particularly if one is visiting the western or northern districts of Sydney. My husband and I have stayed there many times and have not been disappointed. We have also held family functions there. The staff are not pretentious but are extremely courteous and helpful It is close to the Riverside Theatre and a pleasant walk to the Rivercat terminal. One can get to the Sydney CBD by river, by road or by train and the local shopping and restaurants are excellent. Room service meals are of high quality and reasonably priced. We have stayed at many hotels around the world but find that the Carlton is the one that is the 'home away from home'. Knowing that our car is safely parked, but not costing us a 'bomb' is a distinct advantage. "

"Please Note that our comments about our stay at the Hotel were handed over to Management at Checking Out time, together with our verbal comments about the poor standard of Accommodation and Service. We certainly will not be staying there again. "
