The only good thing about this hotel is it's location, equidistant from Darling Harbor, Circular Quay and Centrepoint. The rooms are small, the bathroom smaller. Couldn't adjust shower head above 5ft high and water went everywhere. Non smoking room and floor but can smell cigarette smoke in the hallways. Dirty sheets and pillowcases were not cleaned or replaced. Air conditioning did not work! Many complaints from many guests but only got excuses. Very noisy area due to building construction. Front of hotel is blocked with construction equipment most of the day preventing taxi's and shuttle buses access to the front of the building and lobby area. I would prefer to pay a little more for a much nicer hotel... can't get any worse than this.

| "The location of the hotel is great, a 10 minute walk from Circular Quay & the Sydney Harbour Bridge with a further 10 minute walk to the Opera House or Botanical Gardens. A 20 minute walk to Darling Harbour where there are lots of restaurants, shops, activities etc. Practically next to a train station & bus terminus.
Both the room itself & bathroom were perfectly fine for an average stay. A reasonable size without being exceptional. All the amenities one would hope for were there including a room safe & tea/coffee making facility. The room was tidied & cleaned to a high standard each day.
Staff were professional, helpful & very pleasant.
This hotel appears to be popular with groups & the lobby was quite busy a lot of the time.
A shuttle bus to the airport can be booked from reception for AUD12.00 per person." |
