"Just right for me as a lecturer visiting University of Sydney, yet also close to the city and Central station"

"Good service and is not hard on your wallet. Triple room came with a bunk and a double bed and was considerably quite big. Very happy with everything and was more than I had expected though the common kitchen lacked pans to cook anything."
4/5  Posted by MR. BUSSEMAKER, Tim, Australia in June 2008
"Overall a good location. Within walking (30 minutes) distance of the city centre. A bus stop was very close by, and Central Railway Station about 10 minutes away. The hotel is opposite the Broadway Shoping Centre. The breakfast facilities were very well priced. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I was a little taken aback om entering the room, expecting to see a queen size bed instead of 2 singles. "

"The UniLodge was a great place. The rooms used as student apartments and those used as hotel rooms are mixed together, so you'll be right next to students studying if you stay here, but don't think of dormitories at all. I wish I could have stayed at a place this nice as a student. The room had dishes and (I think) a microwave. Since there were 3 of us, we asked for an extra bed. No worries about this being crowded: there was more than enough space in there for the bunk bed they brought in! A family of four could easily and comfortably stay in these rooms. Though it's a long walk from the heart of Sydney, it's right along Broadway St. where any of the 400 buses stop. I recommend the UniLodge strongly."

"We found our room very adequate and quiet. Were some steps to maneuver which was a little difficult with luggage for 70 plus senior citizens. We appreciated the microwave and the refrigerator in the room so we could have breakfast and some other small meals/snacks in our room. Location was good for restaurants, grocery stores, and other minor shopping. Was easy access to bus service. People at desk were friendly and helpful when we asked questions. Would have liked more information provided such as location of churches, gocery stores (found those by accident), the Explorer Bus, etc. Good location for bus services. This was not luxury but very neat and clean. A good buy."

"If your after friendly helpful service this is not the hotel to stay at. The location was perfect - just out of the main CBD (a short bus ride), across the road from a major shopping centre. But beware this is a uni student live in residential and the accomodation is not homely or inviting. It would however suit families looking for budget accommodation. Would more than likely use the accommodation given the price and location."

"air-condition is not enough"

"An air conditioning system inside the room would be appreciated."

"a basic hotel with very few amenities. certainly not up to the travelodge usa standards. wrong room check in. no room service on second day."

"It’s basically a (temporally) student hotel accommodation, but also good for budget travelers. It was a quit place, 15 minutes walk from Darling Harbor, close to the train station and easy bus to city centre. Shops and food facilities are available in the area. My room had all the basics including an option for internet connection (AUD 20,- for 120 MB, other options possible). There is also the option for an airport bus connection for AUD 12. General I am positive in relation to the price. "
