| "Hotel location in centre of town is very good; however they charge $10 per day to park your car nearby, something we were not told about in advance. There is no other car parking option except to pay, unusual for a small city like Townsville. The aircon system is a bit antiquated, no temp setting, just fan speed, and it does not lower the humidity so you perspire in spite of the cold! Too cold, without proper temp control. Overall, we would not stay here again, esp. if we are driving, as other locations offer free parking, esp Grand Mercure." |
