| "I was very disappointed that the hotel's pool was under maintenance and not available during our stay. More importantly I was disappointed that the unavailability of the pool was not told to me when I booked the hotel as this was one of the main reasons I chose Jupiters.
And I could not believe that you did not give me a discount for their being no pool when I payed under the pre-tenses that there was a pool!! We were merely offered cab vouchers to a public pool that we would of had to pay for. Anyways the whole point was I wanted an on-site pool. They should of just given me a straight-out discount, say $100.
Apart from that the hotel was OK." |

| "This luxury hotel has it all. The location is perfect with many restaurants, nightclubs, pubs, bars, and museums within easy walking distance. Right next door to the Entertainment Centre for the NBL basketball fans. The hotel is on the waters edge, overlooking Magnetic Island to the east, and the Strand, Castle Hill to the west. At night the city is SO colourful.
The casino is on the ground floor, and is one of the most relaxed and comfortable I have encountered.
If you are planning a stay in Townsville, and you want a place that has it all, then Jupiters is perfect.
Suggest at least a day trip to Magnetic Island which is about 10 minutes by fastcat. The departure area is only a few minutes stroll from the hotel entrance." |
