Would I stay at this location
again:

Absolutely!
We stayed in a Junior Suite, the size of the room was huge and offered great views from the second floor. The hotel rooms facing the street can be slightly noisy but this is a small price to pay for being in one of the best locations and staying at a fantastic boutique hotel with excellent service and large rooms.

4/5  Posted by MR. ROBERTS, Michael, United Kingdom in July 2008
"This a very fine hotel, with beautiful rooms. The location is not ideal, but taxis and tuk tuks are available outside, and are very cheap. The hotel restaurant was poor for dinner, not very good food and very expensive (relatively), but that's common to most hotels anywhere. The breakfast, however, was excellent. The staff are very friendly and hospitable, and will improve with their increasing proficiency in English. A broken light in the shower was repaired within two hours! Thank you for a nice place to stay, and best wishes."

"Amanjaya was the perfect location in Phnom Penh with excellent restaturants in close proximity and wonderful views of the river and Palace. The rooms were well appointed, simple yet stylish."

5/5  Posted by MR. GREENHALGH, Peter, United Kingdom in May 2008
"The hotel really was of a high standard and the staff were very friendly. The room itself was superb and was like a suite due to the actual size of the room. There was a seperate shower room and enormous bath. The hotel was in a good location and my only criticism was that there wasn't any fitness facilities but I would definetely recommend this hotel."

4/5  Posted by MR. SHARP, Andrew, United Kingdom in May 2008
"The hotel is in a prime location for the Royal Palace and Museum, as well as many bars and restaurants. The only downside was the construction work along the riverfront which means that there is a lot of traffic congested into the roads outside the hotel. The rooms, and bathrooms, are very large and well decorated and the staff are very friendly. Food in the restaurant is very good, although in the evening it pays to get in early before the public take all the tables. They also provide a breakfast box for customers leavng before the breakfast starts."

"Wonderful find in the heart of Phnom Penh's tourist district. Rooms were huge and received excellent service. Would recommend to anyone (particularly seeing as you can get a world-standard 5 star room for a fraction of the price you would pay elsewhere)."
