we stayed here twice. The first time in a double room at the backside (no view over the river, no balcony), quite average, a bit noicy but overall more or less ok. The second time we had a more expensive suite with balcony on the river side. My ratings above refere to this suite only, with separate bath- bed- and livingroom. Ask specificly for an odd numbered room with a view.

| "the room had no natural light as the blind couldn't be pulled up and this was a major disadvantage. It seems that the only rooms with a view of the river are suites. Very pleasant, helpful staff. Buffet breakfast below standard.

| "A great location, thought the park across the road is currently barricaded, making the road feel busy, and making it difficult to reach the river. Walking distance to the Museum and Palace, and to Friends restaurant (highly recommended - it trains street kids as waiters). Rooms are great and nicely decorated. Had trouble reaching the hotel via their email, and needed to call them to organise the airport transfer. Otherwise all good." |

| "A boutique style hotel that is well located and close to eateries on Sisowath Quay. Well decorated room and generally clean.
However, be prepared to walk up the stairs as it does not have a elevator and you would be reliant on the poor hotel porters to carry your bags up.
Hotel did not provide coffee making facilities and only basic toiletries (no hair dryer or shower cap). Wasn't keen on the bottled water provided. Breakfast rates are pricey and not much offered.
Would have preferred to stick the room key to the door lock in the night but it was welded to the tag needed to turn on the room electricity.

| "I had stayed at the Hotel before, and found it still to the same high standard.
The plumbing in the shower was a little suspect, the drainage didn't work.
And the construction work made things a little less than restful! While I understand it's Cambodia and these things happen, i would have appreciated knowing before my booking that there would be some noise.
The staff are excellent - I feel terrible because there was one member I didn't get a chance to tip. to thank for all his help. I'll have to go back.
regards, hb" |

| "We had a rather pleasant stay at the hotel, safe for a rude and curt Cambodian staff, who is not ashamed to show his disdain for Asian travellers like me and my girlfriend.
His display of unwillingness to help leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and has confused guests with multiple replies between himself and his colleagues.
The 1st room that we were assigned with has a funny smell, but the smell is gone after we requested to change to another room one floor up.
Overall, the hotel's ok - not fantastic, but decent for that price. All staff are very friendly and conversant, except for that rude staff behind the reception, and the doorguys who can't speak English. " |
