Hotel is a little tired and rooms could do with a progressive upgrade. Rooms on the river side had a great view of the Mekong and hotel has taken advantage of this. Good range of food from the breakfast buffet. Downside is the location. A bit out of the way to Sisowath Quay and will need the use of the tuk tuk to go further afield.

| "The hotel was way to expensive for the room quality.
After first getting a confirmation for the wrong date, suddenly the price nearly doubled from 41 to 77 Euro.
The cleanliness of carpet and bathroom is not acceptable for this price - the hotel is supposed to have 5 stars!? This probably changed years ago..." |

| "(+) Very well located hotel. Excellent breakfast.
(-) Not very charming; it looks like a massive hotel from the Soviet times, for businessmen. Clean rooms but tasteless. Some have a nice view on the Mekong river but you see first the awful "backstage" of the hotel.

| "We have been twice at Hotel Cambodiana during the month of july, the first time at the beginning of our travel and the second time on our way to Vietnam and we definitely enjoied very much our staying there.
Rooms are spacious, bathroom clean, employees very friendly and location ideal (10 minutes walk from the riverside where all the restaurants are and where in the evening it becomes a little noisy).
The pool is beautifully located overlooking the Mekong river.
During our second stay we choosed a room on the Mekong Floor... more expensive but really worth of.
If we should come back to Phnom Penh one day we would definitely come to Cambodiana again!" |
