3/5  Posted by MR. PEROLD, ROBERT, South Africa in November 2008
"We booked and paid for a De-Luxe room. If this is what their "Deluxe" rooms offer, I shudder to think what the "Superior" rooms must be like ! Generally the Cambodiana is a very old, worn out, tired hotel. The room smelt musty throughout our stay and even though we requested a non-smoking room, it seems they do not have any available. It must be said that some of the staff put in a sterling effort and the food in general, is devine ! A "must try", is the bakery. It is EXCELLENT ! The location is superb, right on the river front. Very cheap and easy Tuk-Tuk & Taxi transport all over the city. Generally, the experience sucked though. Would most likely not use this hotel again."

"Having stayed here before I knew what to expect but the bathrooms still are below standard with cigarette burns on the sanitory ware as standard as I changed rooms twice and there was the same problem in each room. Other than that the hotel is good by standards out there although it is not cheap!"

"I have stayed at the Cambodiana several times and would strongly recommend it for value for money through AsiaRooms.com. Location and service are very good and the inclusive bufet breakfast is outstanding in variety and quality. Riverside location with good swimming pool. Gym might be improved and what was advertised on my previous visit as going to be Phenom Phen's first non smoking lobby bar was full of smokers and the number of non-smoking rooms is limited and not in the best corridor locations (this is in keeping with the general acceptance of smoking in all bars and restauarnats in the hotel and throughout the city.)"

"Found it on the whole enjoyable.Meals are a little expensive.Breakfast average.Location great.Bakery superb.Staff very helpful.Rooms, especially bathrooms are getting very tired. Regards Debbie"

5/5  Posted by MR. BROWN, Philip, Irish Republic in October 2008
"We stayed at this Hotel in October 2008. We found it to be of a high standard. Breakfast very good. Nice pool overlooking the river. While the Asiarooms rate was very good value for money prices in the hotel itself for food and drinks were high and out of proportion to what one would pay downtown. However, I would stay there again.
