I stayed at the Kabiki with my nine year old son for a night on our way from Siem Reap to Vietnam. It was a quick trip through Phnom Penh and the Kabiki provided an excellent base for our visit. The staff were courteous and helpful and the room we were provided large, clean and roomy - we actually had 2 queen-size beds in the room and there was still heaps of space.
My son and I appreciated the pool, the free internet access and the board games in the restaurant area near the pool.
My only negative comment (and it is not intended as a criticism) is that, as the Kabiki is away from the main tourist / restaurant strip, tuk tuks and taxis don't tend to hang around in the street - requiring 5 minute a walk to the main road to flag one down. This was no major issue - I was just used to tripping over tuk tuks in Phnom Penh every time I turned around. I resolved this 'problem' by engaging a tuk tuk and driver for the duration of our stay.
I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kabiki Hotel and certainly recommend it - particularly for family groups with youngish children.

| "Rooms were very clean and large. Nice atmosphere, very pretty garden and pool area.
However, internet access was not available for the entire week I was there. Also, there was no variety in their included breakfast menu, they served the same bread and fruit every day. Lastly, there didn't seem to be enough hot water for showers." |

| "the food was appalling. the breakfast consisted of 3 bread rolls and some fruit? For the amount of money you pay i expect a much better breakfast.
also, for a boutique 5 star hotel shouldn't someone help you with your bags?" |
