"The location was good although lots of street noise and renovations were also underway. Some of the front staff were not friendly almost rude. The breakfast serving staff were gorgeous. The sewrage was really stinky so the bathroom constantly stank!"

| "I had a very pleasant stay at the Khmer Royal Hotel; great location, very friendly and helpful staff, good value for money. I loved breakfast on the rooftop terrace restaurant with the river view. My web reservation and billing also went through perfectly; thank you for your service.

"Ideally situated on Sisowath Quay close to the Royal Palace. The restaurant on the 5th floor gives great views across the Tonle River, especially during the annual Water Festival, however, sparrows fly in and out so hygene here is iffy. The breakfast is poor. The staff try hard but sometimes fail to understand western ways."

"the hotel was very expensive compared to others in this city. The main attraction is the location which is perfect but the hotel is pretty shabby and in need of redecoration. The staff were only interested in selling trips and tours and nearly caused us to miss our onward transportation as they failed to book the taxi as requested. i would not recommend this hotel."

"The only thing that this hotel has going for them is the central location. The bath towels, bath mat and bedsheets were stained and looked unclean, regardless of it being washed. I had to have cold showers, as the hot water system did not work, and when I requested maintenance to fix the problem, my shower was just a notch better than before, and had luke warm shower. "

"Very well located, the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and internet connection at the front desk is free. The riverside rooms are better as the backside is very dark, no daylight. Would stay there again and do the booking in advance for one day only (You can save 20-30% of the room rate while booking directly in the hotel)."
