Would I stay at this location
again:

Most likely
The New York Hotel seems fairly representative of most hotels in downtown Phnom Penh. My room was on the back side, so I was unware of the ongoing construction out front. The constant crowd of moto and tuk-tuk drivers is to be expected everywhere in Phnom Penh and you quickly learn how to wave them off. The complimentary breakfast was sufficent, but nothing to write home about. Watch out for the odd stair heights in the stairway next to the rear elevator -- interesting, but potentially deadly.

"overall stay in hotel is ok if one is not too fussy about its some worn out condition. Location of hotel is good as very close to central market and some night eateries"

"Pretty good hotel. Nice and clean rooms on a fine location. Just don't arrange taxi's or things like that by the hotel staff. At the moment we needed to pay the taxidriver it turned out that they lied about the costs and while discussing the problem they made up stories."

"Hotel location was good, was located on the main road, near to central market. The hotel looks good on the outside. The room was alright, pretty standard. Breakfast standard was on the low side. For the price that I paid, it was quite satisfactory."
