"The location is ideal for visiting National Museum, Wat Phnom,Genocide Museum,Tonle Sap River,Killing Field,Angkor Wat and even HCM City of Vietnam. I like spacious and well maintained garden, wood floor at guest room and the restaurant next to reception desk which offers variety of foods at Buffet during Lunch and Dinner at reasonable prices. This hotel reminds me of glorious classic 5-star atmosphere at moderate room charge. I apprciate "Asia Rooms" for their excellent efforts for helping travellers comfortable and will certainly stay here again in my next trip through "Asia Rooms". Each foreign visitor should prepare a photo for Visa on Arrival at the airport. Visa fee is US$ 20 and airport departure tax is US$ 25. "

"Hotel is always a good place for me. I stay there on every trip to Phnom Penh. They do need to give attention to small repairs and light bulb replacments. They also need a nmore resonable priced place to eat. Overall I have always like my stay there and will continue to use this hotel."

"good hotel with perfect service ! Swimming pool ok and clean. Bar beverages expensive."

"The hotel was one of the worst I've ever stayed in. As we stayed in a club floor room I shudder to think how the standard rooms are. The room smelled humid og the bathroom was dirty. In a town like phnom penh the cost does not match the standard"

"The standard rooms are actually very nice indeed..."

"The Phnom Penh hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The reception and cashier staff need more training in the English language. I found it quite difficult to communicate with them and explainig what I needed. It was never resolved even after speaking with the manager. I believe that is was because of the language barrier that didn't get what I wanted rather then the staffs' not willing to help. "

"Phnom Penh Hotel is great. Had a lovely room with averaged sized room overlooking a very nice pool. Breakfast was pretty good with a mix of Asian and European choices. The gym had an adequate range of equipment (bike, running machines, free weights, weight machines) but was very hot - not sure if there was any air con. The location is not too bad - it's about a 15 minute walk to the centre of the city but I wouldn't let that put you off staying at the hotel as there are plenty of tuk tuks outside that will take you anywhere within the city for $2 (just haggle). I have stayed elsewhere in Phnom Penh and would definitely stay here again."

"Stay away is my only word. Selected the most expensive room type they have (Executive suite). The VIP-service that's mentioned on their webpage is basically nothing, no special checkin and room-service was barely mentionable... To top this, the leaking of the bath they never fixed (even when i told them). If you where lucky there was hot water... The walls in the rooms where stained and dirty, no fresh feeling at all..."

"We were happy with our stay. Room was a good size and clean. You could here some outside noise, though for the price I'm not complaining. Breakfast was good - a nice variety to keep most people happy. Staff were courteous and helped us organise the boat trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap - well worth doing if you are not pushed for time."

"Stayed here over the new year 08. An absolute disaster from the moment we stepped in - had to wait over an hour to check in then room had many faults once we had settled in - 2 lights had to be changed, jacuzzi didn't work, complimentary water/coffee/tea were not refilled, a powerpoint didn't work. Staff reluctant to fix problems without persistent nagging. Expect 2 star service. Hotel itself quite nice but SMOKERS everywhere - even at breakfast! Dinner buffet is worth trying (thou expensive). Tuk tuks at hotel are VERY GREEDY! Poor location - need tuks tuks to go anywhere of interest. Too expensive ++ for what is provided. "
