A good, but not totally central location (10 min walk to old market area). Tuk-Tuks readily available to those averse to what is really just a very pleasant stroll.
Pool is excellent and staff there, like elsewhere in the hotel, are attentive whilst not being "in your face" as is common in developing countries. The hotel, as with the rest of Siem Reap has staff well trained in the hospitality industry.
Hotel is close to 3 well stocked minimarts, including one with ATM and 2 local laundry services (1000R per item). We found nothing at the minimarts we needed or wanted but couldn't get.
Breakfasts excellent but other meals are expensive (by local standards). Restaurants in Siem Reap are excellent with food in up-market restaurants $US2.5 - 5, and beer about $US2 (for a big bottle) and imported wine $US 10-12.
Shopping in hotel is like elsewhere in Siem Reap - overpriced for a poor range of clothing compared to Vietnam or even Thailand. Only good value appeared to be silver.

| "We booked the hotel Angor Century via Asiarooms, because we thought it would be perfect for our family because of the big garden and nice pool area. We have two kids, a 4 year old and a baby. However, when we reached the hotel and looked out of the window the whole poolarea was under renovation, a big construction work and no water, there was also another constructionwork and painting going on. We were very unhappy, because these facilities were the ones why we chose Angor Century. We contacted the management, and they were very sorry, but said that these renovations had to be made during the low seson so that it will in the future serve better the customers. So they moved us to the neighbour 5* hotel and paid the difference. Absolytely amazing service, friendliness and understanding. Just perfect.
We didn`t really stay in Angor Century, but looked the rooms which were nice and spacy. In the future (3 weeks time) the poolarea will also be brandnew. We were really impressed about the service and the willingness to help us, because our holiday could have easily been ruined without these facilities. In the future we would defenetely choose this hotel.

| "Century Angkor is a good 4-star hotel, with a good location, close to the Central Market and Angkor Wat. The room was big and most importantly, cleanliness was observed in the room, bathroom (towels were fresh and clean) and coffee shop (breakfast buffet spread was good); the garden around the swimming pool are not well maintained, however. It was a great value considering that we availed of the half-board room rate. The free nightly cultural show was wonderful treat. I would stay at the Century Angkor again, unless I decide to try the 5-star properties next time." |

| "We really enjoyed our stay at the Ankor Century, the hotel was of a good quality, great location to the city of Siem Reap, and easy assess to Ankor Wat. The staff are very friendly and enjoy talking with the guests. The happy hour in the bar went for 3 hours and drinks are cheap. We enjoyed the restaurant, and only once dined outside the hotel." |

| "This is one of the best accommodation finds we've encountered for a long time. The service was really good, the attitude of the staff 100%, a lovely pool, room, food, and the hotel is in an excellent location to get to town and the historical locations. We only wish we had booked for longer. My only gripe was the internet was very slow, otherwise I couldn't fault the hotel and particularly the staff, well done." |
