A lot of hotels are located quite far from the city centre and you have to hire a tuk tuk every time you go out. This hotel is an easy 10 minutes walk from town and this means easy access to the old market and Bar street where most of the restaurants and bars are located. The hotel has a good breakfast, clean rooms and room service. There is no swimming pool so the best idea is to go to one of the 5 star hotels for the day, enjoy their facilities and have a buffet lunch all for US$20 per person.

| "I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The room was clean and comfortable. It was only a short walk to the main areas and the best bit was to enjoy cooling off in the pool after returning from spending a day touring the temples. The staff were also friendly and helpful. The only area where I felt they could improve was the breakfast as it was pretty basic. I would definitely stay here again and felt it was excellent value for money." |

| "OVERALL,GREAT HOTEL WITH GOOD LOCATION NEAR PUB STREET,CENTRAL MARKETS,ETC...HOTEL ROOM IS QUITE CLEAN BUT NO HOT JUG/KETTLE TO BOIL WATER..SO WE HAVE TO REQUEST THEM TO BRING A HOT JUG WHEN NEED TO MAKE ANY HOT DRINKS.
LOCATION NEARBY TO TOWN(10MINS WALK) BUT LACK OF STREETLIGHTS NEAR THE BRIDGE SOMEHOW MAKE US QUITE SCARRY TO WALK EVEN THOUGH ITS QUITE SAFE.LUCKILY BROUGHT A TORCH LIGHT.
BREAKFAST IS QUITE SIMPLE BUT VERY TASTY ESPECIALLY THE FRIED HAM.
STAFF ALL QUITE FRIENDLY.
ALSO HAVE A GREAT SWIMMING POOL AT THE TOP FLOOR.
GOOD RECOMMENDATION FOR BUDGET TRAVELLERS.
WILL PROBABLY STAY THERE IF I CANT GET CHEAPER RATE ELSEWHERE" |

| "Our stay had been memorable. Hotel staff were great and we were always greeted with a smile. Upon checked in we discovered that the water boiler was not working so we called housekeeping staff who immediately had it replaced. Location wise is also excellent just a few mins walk to the Old Market and numerous trendy eateries and cafes. Once again, thank u for making our trip an enjoyable one." |

| "A very good value for money. Conveniently loacted. The staff are quite responsive and helpful. The hotel has free internet (3 terminals) in the lobby. Lobby is ok, breakfast so-so. Room and toilet are good value for money. Ideal for budget plus travellers, families and even couples! Hotel and the staff are certainly good ambassadors for their country. Highly recommended. " |

| "The room was nice enough, the swimming pool on the roof was pleasant & the location convenient, but the breakfast menu selection was mediocre at best.
My big beef with this hotel, tho, was their false advertising. "Free WiFi in your room" was one of the main reasons I chose this particular hotel & they even advertise that proudly on their sign out front. Problem is, it's simply NOT TRUE. In the three days we spent there, neither my wife nor I could connect our laptops -- laptops we used with no problem both before & after staying there. There were plenty of signals from the hotel next door & other locations, but nobody was able to even tell us the name of the network we were supposed to log onto. Even in the hotel lobby, I was never able to connect until the morning we were leaving & that was the first time the City River network signal ever showed up on my screen. Just to see what would happen, I tried it again in my room right after that & got nothing.
Free WiFi in my room was a big drawing card for me; not receiving it left me very dissatisfied with what was otherwise a decent enough hotel. If they're going to advertise it, they ought to provide it. I felt gypped.
