It's as good as most of the reviews let you imagine. Staff are lovely, but we did have some miscommunication over the mini bar. The massage centre was excellent, the 'hot rocks' were just what was needed after temple trekking. The restaurant was also excellent, but I wouldn't order the gnocchi again - but the pizza was a near Italian experience. The calm of this hotel, the staff and the quiet swimming pool give it a lovely serenity.

| "I found this hotel at the recommendation of my brother who had stayed there a few weeks before I went out. It is perfect, well laid out, not overrun by tourist groups (it is probably too small for that) and I would definately stay there again if I returned to Siem Reap. It is a short walk into the centre of town from the hotel which means you don't get stuck in the hotel in the evening should you still have energy and desire to explore after crawling all over the temples all day. Service is excellent throughout the hotel.
The restaurant is expensively priced (maybe all hotels are like this, I don't know) especially when compared to what you can get by going to any restaurant. However, if the breakfasts are anything to go by, the quality of the food is excellent. So if you don't mind eating western food and paying western prices when there, then there should be little reason for complaint.

| "Loved this hotel. The pool is fabulous and really good for lap swimming- (about 20m), good service, nice restaurant and great location (on the river) - not right in the centre but only about 5 mins (or less) into town with a tuk-tuk. Rooms are well maintained and spacious - probably not worth paying the extra for the pool view though as the garden rooms are of a similar size (or maybe even the same) and perfectly adequate. " |

| "We stayed for seven days and could've stayed longer. The service was 5 star and the food was absolutely devine with a range of local tastes to western favourites. Great choice of wines, champagnes, plus local and international beers.
Location was great, as it's only five minutes away by tuk tuk to Pub St, which is just enough distance away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of town.
Only 20 mintues away from the temples, so very accessible and easy to get to. Having breakfast overlooking the river and locals passing by on their bikes was nice and relaxing.
The place was very clean and the salty pool a nice treat after a day at the temples, walking in the heat.
We're already planning our next trip back.
