| "It was absolutely perfect. From the minute we got there until we left. Service is impeccable. The jasmine scent of the hotel is devine. The in room ipod music selection was very suited to the rustic Cambodian charm. The hotel is in walking distance to the old, wet and night markets and nearby amenities (banks, supermarkets, etc) Do get a angkor tour organised with the hotel, well worth it. If you are looking for a place to really relax and unwind, this is the hotel. Only one negative, mojitos should be made better." |

| "We stayed at Hotel de la Paix for two nights in May 2008 and would love to stay here again. This is a beautiful hotel, with a stunningly decorated lobby, hallways and gardens, and a very central location within walking distance to the main restaurant area and the night market. A short Tuk Tuk drive to Ankgor Wat. The bath in the room is amazing! You can fit two people in it side by side. The outdoor pool (with bar service!) is a perfect oasis in the midst of the humid bustle of the city. The service is absolutely impeccable. Overall standard of the room was very good: clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and tastefully decorated. The Ipod in the room was preloaded with some relaxing music which was a nice touch. The breakfast was very good with a range of both western and asian food. The overall experience was very good.
Negatives: The restaurant for dinner is VERY overpriced. You can eat out of the hotel for about 1 tenth of the price! Also the spa treatments/massage: go across the road to the beauty salon there instead. Also the hotel car service is overpriced. You are better off getting a tuk tuk everywhere, even to the airport with luggage and all they cope very well." |

| "- Very attentive hotel staffs.
- The hotel organized the whole tour regarding car, driver, guide for quite reasonable price. We got a good recommendation, which temples and sightseeing points, we had to consider and we had the free choice. Please be aware of the fact that the guide will "recommend" to you restaurants for having lunch and a dinner in conjunction with an Apsara-Dance. The hotel offers 2 events per week w/o charge.
- Very good food, especially the cambodian Khmer Day Menu in the Hotel Restaurant Meric. Try also the ice-cream and the cocktails." |

| "We spend 6 nights with my wife at the hotel de la paix. From arrival to departure, everything and everybody was perfect. All the the staff is very kind and efficient. We had a courtyard garden suite: very confortable. The outside bathroom is really funny. The swimming pool is quiete. The breakfeast is absolutely delicious. The location is ideal (near from the center with a lot a good and cheap restaurants). It's really a luxurious hotel. A great stay!" |

| "My partner and I were extremely impressed with this hotel. We arrived about 9:30 in the morning and with no forwarning they made up a room for us and let us check-in straight away.
We had dinner one night in the restaurant, Meric, which was excellent as were the breakfasts. The bread and pastries in the Cafe were also a favourite.
What makes this hotel though is the staff - always polite, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend staying here." |

| "Service was great, everyone was very polite and tried to accomodate all requests. The hotel has great atmosphere so it doesn't feel like any big hotel. Great location as it is near the town. I really enjoyed our stay although the hotel is definitely on the expensive side. " |
