Been searching and planning for my first trip to cambodia half year ago for my first visit to cambodia Siem Reap. Beocz tired of living in standard hotel, so been searching for some special boutique hotels. By chance i found this HDLP, even though it wasnt in service but the decoration and the design really attracts me.
Finally i paid my 5 days visit there and living in both their courtyard and pool suite. The experience was really amazing. The service is really excellent and friendly. From restaurant to poolside staff, really helpful and cozy. Also, the "Swing dinner" is really wonderful and i guess no one should miss that one if u r living there.
Courtyard room do hv an outdoor bathtub but the room side is a bit small, while the pool suite is surprising big (almost 2 times bigger) which also have a private entrance to the swimming pool.
Gym facilities is enough, the spa offer is reasonable, just the swimming pool is a bit too small. Breakfast quality is better than dinner, but the atomsphere and decoration makes u totally indulge in it. They also provide u a free iPod either for room music or outdoor Angkor Wat sight seeing, really thoughtful and a superb arrangement.
This ever the first boutique hotel in Siem Reap definitely worth a dollar and it is highly recommended to those who dont like living in "classy" and "hotel like" hotel. Sure i will go back again.

| "We were looking forward to staying at this hotel having seems all the beautify pictures on its website. The reality proved much different however. While the rooms were descent we found rest of the hotel disappointing. For a five star hotel we expected much more. Pool was tiny and hidden in the back of the hotel. There was no room to swim!! Even wore the tour guide the hotel booked us - for a hefty fee - to take us to the temples could barely speak English. Would strongly advise to stay in other hotels. " |

| "We really enjoy during our 3 nights stayed at Hotel De La Paix, the location is very central, easy to move around either with taxi hotel or just take a tuk tuk to French Quater or Artisan Angkor etc.
The staff are professional, attentive, kind and always smile.
Breakfast is superb, healthy choices and with efficient staff, make our stay more memorable.
The room is very clean, only we need to ask for water kettle and cup to make our tea/coffee.
I'll recommend to my family and friends to spend in Siem Reap at Hotel De La Paix, defenetely!" |

| "The rooms were spotless and the service was immaculate. Each room comes with its very own ipod and the player (with chill-out music). Most staff speak good English. The breakfasts spread was extensive and comes good 'western coffee' and champagne, no less.
The hotel courtyard provides a nice and zen seating area for guests to relax. The swimming pool at level one was somewhat small and may not exactly be the best place for sun-bathing. " |
