I stayed at the Mandalay Inn in Sept 2007. We didn't have any reservations, so we just kind of showed up at their doorstep. We had a quiet room on the second floor and it was definitely worth the $15/night room rate - private bath w/hot water shower, television, two twin beds, air con, ceiling fan. Well located just off of a main street (crossing the street may be hazardous to your health, though) with a number of internet cafes, convenient stores within a 2 block radius. The owners and employees were very hospitable and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I make it back to Siem Reap.

| "Let may say that I'm very disappoint overall. When I may the reservation with Mandalay, it was for 2 rooms for 4 people; however, when I arrived to the hotel the craziness begins. First of all, the image of the hotel on their homepage or this page is not of their hotel, it's of a hotel in front of them. They are in the back and nothing as expected. When I checked in, they told me that they only one room reserved even the confirmation indicates 2 rooms. They claimed that they dont' have the information. These people are dishonest and it's not worth staying. I stayed there for 2 nights because of the pre-reservation and was having problem moving around due to old age. I WILL NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. There are so many other hotels in the area that are much better and cheaper than this place. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! " |

If you are expecting a Budget Hotel with excellent service, charming, quality conscious KHmer-Burmese Hotel, this is the place to go.
Located just around the corner of Sivatha street and a two-minutes walk away from the old market, Crocodile farm and one minute from Artism DÁngkor. As situated at city center, it is a perfect starting point for exploring Siem Reap by foot or bike.
The hotel itself is in a very clean and healthy state, the builing's condition leaves a good impression (e.g. no damages due to humidity), and the rooms' infrastructure works without any problems. In general, rooms are spacious and services offer you everything you can expect for rates around 15 US$ per room/day (incl. wi fi internet access,Gym, Minibar, TV, Aircon, Hot/Cold Water etc).
The best of the hotel, is its staff: I have rarely met such a nice and friendly service, eager to sincerely assist wherever necessary. Available for organise Tour Packages, Car & Guide Rental, Ticketing and to keep your belongings in the safety box room.
This smaller family-run hotel provides you with the excellent services particularly for a longer stay.
