My friends and I stayed 4 nights and found that the service is superb. Although we arrived at the hotel well before the check in time the hotel gave us free breakfast for that day. The staff are gracious, helpful, attentive and friendly. The location of the hotel is very convenient.

| "Disappointed with service at front desk. Receptionist lady was not smiling during check-in, and we did not feel welcomed. We asked for a king-size bed, which she said was not available that day and will arrange for us the next day. We called her later from the room to remind her, yet she emphasized that she will call us, and we do not need to call her. The call never came... We continued to stay in the twin room for the rest of the stay.
Road outside the hotel was flooded for 2days out of our 4days stay - raining season. So if you are taking a tuk-tuk, be prepared for a challenging journey.
Location was good though - 10 mins walk to town.

| "I am very pleased to have booked this hotel through Asiaroom as I had no trouble whatsoever in checking into the hotel(though we had to wait a few hours because we arrived early and the room was not ready). The service at the reception was excellent. The hotel we understand is relatively new and is very impressive from the moment you step into the lobby. The staff are all polite and willing to help-most of them can speak English(though some may not be able to fully understand you). The hotel is well located and near to all the sites especially the markets which are all within walking distance.Angkor Wat is only a short distance by taxi and foodstalls are available nearby. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would definitely stay at this hotel again if we visit Angkor in the future. Thanks Asiaroom." |

| "i recommend the somadevi hotel to anyone planning a stay at siem reap.
the hotel took me by surprise, people are friendly, the facilities are well kept and the rooms come with a balcony!despite the warning of mosquitoes, which of course is true, it was nice to have one.
also at an advantage, there was no need to take a tuk-tuk everynight to pub street for food & drinks because the hotel is only a 10 minute walk from it.central and old market are also in the same direction.
the temples are only 15 minutes by transport frm the hotel and also the airport as well.
it definitely did seem like a 4star hotel.

| "A good hotel , ideal position within walking distance of the ' pub street', central market and night market. Friendly helpful staff , lovely pool , . Good base for seeing all Siem Reap has on offer . We only had breakfasts and 1 lunch at the hotel the food was fine . Great stay . Our room was on the street side which was a little noisy early in the moring , but we were up early to see the temples in the cool anyway . " |

| "The hotel was comfortable and good value for money. The staff were quite helpful and cheerful, always smiling - that's true for the entire country as well. We could check out late on our last day at the hotel. It is very conveniently located, seems to be walking distance from everything in the city, the temples are just about a ten minute car ride away. The internet in the hotel is very slow, though that can be rectified by walking across to the internet cafe across the street. On the whole quite a satisfying stay." |
