| "Viroths is a soothing respite after the intensity of Angkor Wat. The rooms are decorated in a minimalist style, which actually is a great contrast to the sights, sounds and smells of Siem Reap. The staff were cheerful and helpful, and very accommodating to any requests we had. The salt water pool was great to relax in after long days at the temples. As mentioned in previous reviews, the margaritas created by the bartender were the best I have ever had – be prepared to wait though, as only fresh lime juice is used. The fresh fruit, juices and croissants available at breakfast were a perfect start to the day. For those needing access to internet, there are plenty of internet cafes near Pub Street in town, within walking distance or a quick tuktuk ride. We enjoyed the proximity to town without the noise and traffic. There was construction occurring across the street which would be distracting if spending time there during the day. Since that wasn’t the case with us it wasn’t much of an issue. " |

| "- Location is great! A short walk to the Old Market area.
- Open concept bathroom. So not a good idea when travelling with friends
- Nice pool area. It's a salt water pool
- Avoid doing massage at night as it's done on the top balcony. Many mosquitoes

| "The hotel is located five minutes from the Old Market although the streets around it are very dirty. Right now there is construction going on, so it is very noisy.
I was in room 3, which was next to the pool and lobby. I was disappointed for several reasons:
The "private" yard was not so private. The staff kept using it as as their passage way to a utility room, so they could peek into the room. This meant there was no privacy at all unless you pulled the curtains and stayed in the dark, as suggested by the French manager.
WIFI did not work and they could not manage to repair it. Once again, the manager blamed it on my computer, although the other guests´ computers did not work either.
I was quoted a price for my trips to the temple and they tried to charge me more than arranged.
I was swimming in the pool, which was not well maintained, and saw a rat walking along the fence.
And finnaly, the room was clean except that there were dead insects on the top shelf of the closet.
The Cambodian staff were really friendly and nice.
All in all, don´t be fool by the minimalist "exclusive" style they try to sell you. I would not reccmmend this hotel as it was inconsistent. " |

Staff needs training.
Poor breakfast.
For a boutique hotel they need to improve a lot." |

| "This is a little fine hotel with just a few rooms in walking distance to the Old Market with its restaurants, shops, spas and massage parlors for a bit of relaxation. Although the hotel itself offers different massage therapies at reasonable rates in a separate space next to the rooftop jacuzzy.
Our room was spacious, airy with 2 windows, open plan bathroom and separate toilet. The furniture and the design was minimalistic and simple with a contemporary feel.
The breakfast was served on the roof terrace. You are asked to choose from a selection of breads, fruits, eggs and even soup the night before.
The service and staff are great. Very very kind and always willing to assist. They booked our guide and tuk-tuk for sightseeing and helped with a restaurant reservation. The nice thing is they are there when you need help but otherwise they give you your own space. The pool is very attractive as well and the hotel plays a selection of chill out music in the evenings.
We did not try their own Viroth´s restaurant nearby but it was recommended to us.
I would recommend this hotel to young couples, single open-minded travellers who can appreaciate a small modern hotel like this. For people who like to party outside but appreciate a peaceful hotel after.
