"We stayed in executive suite 11 days. The room was big with two bathrooms. View from the windows was straight to the pool so the noise from the pool carried to our room. Breakfast was not so great, but overall, we were satisfied with the hotel."

"Hotel was well located. Room was large although very tired. Hotel could do with complete upgrading. Breakfasts were good with lots of options. Pool is small and by the road. Probably would not stay here again."

"This hotel is neat and clean with good rooms and bathrooms. It is 5 minutes walking distance from the beach. The breakfast was basic and fine. However except for the beach there are not many attractions near the hotel and it is a bit away from the city. So the hotel is fine for people for whom the beach is the main attractions."

"The facilities were satisfactory. Staff were very accomodating, helpful and efficient when arranging our onwards travel. There was however, evidence of cockroaches in the restaurant area and rooms were not properly aired out. "

"This hotel is well located but very noisy. Quality of food for breakfeast is really poor. The restaurant staff is not friendly. Breakfeast is until 10 and when we arrive at 9h10 no choice remaining for breakfeast It is too expensive vs the prestations."

"The hotel and service was good. But the towels in the hotels were not white but a little brown possible through the water. You could not see if they were clean.Take coloered towels than. The towels were thin. Also we booked via the reception a trip for 1 day to a parc. A strange thing follwed. The man of the reception asked us outside when we went to the pool if we can pay $10.- in advance, no problem. The total amount of the trip was $ 100.-. The next day after the trip we paid the rest $ 90.- The man ( driver) counted it and told us OK. In the evening he phoned us and said that it was not enough. But we made the agrement for $ 100.- we said. So we did not pay again. When we checked out the reception asked again for the $ 90.- that already was paid. A very bad and not correct situation by the reception. I think that the people of the reception have there own business. Not good for the hotel's name. So the hotel direction should investigate that it is not good for their name. But the stay was good. We asked for a lunch packedge for own trip further and we get it, the kitchen made a box with sandwitch and french frite Only the french frite were of course cold. Than you know you are from europe not from asia."

"Golden Sands is in a good location and the staff are generally friendly and the rooms are clean. However, a number of the hotel management policies are disgraceful. Staff would not provide me with an application form for a Vietnam visa unless I applied for it through their counter which cost 5 US Dollars more than from the consulate 5 mins up the road. The Internet costs 3 US Dollars an hour, treble that across the road in an internet cafe. The breakfast is truly awful!!! Staff would also not change 100 US Dollars at the counter even though they had cash. The swimming pool has poor visibility due to salt/chlorine but it is spacious. Might stay again, but would look elsewhere first. Lots of cheaper accommodation in the area."

"Perfect location as it's only a short walk to the beach, however it is a little bit noisy. Good sized rooms, but they do lack atmosphere. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast - very bland."

"I think they can offer the internet acces or to have better price because 1 usd for 15 minutes is very bad."
