| "This hotel is very well kept and has (almost)everything one needs.
Breakfast is good, amenities are good, decoration is nice.
The only snag is it's location, which is in fact very good, right next to the beginning of the beach and steps away from the numerous restaurants. You can walk to the city centre, to the shopping malls, to almost any part of the city.
BUT you are also in the middle of nightlife and the street is quite busy (even cleaning at 4 AM).
So keep your windows closed tight...then the room will get quite warm and there is no A/C to cool down.
Hint : take a room with a sea view, the furthest away from the San Martin road or with no view on the side, but NOT overlooking the street itself or you will enjoy yellings, chanting and revelling until well past 3 AM...everyday of the week in summer.
Otherwise prepare yourself for a not so quick checkout because only one or two girls are at the reception to greet you.
Service is courteous and the hotel itself is worthwhile." |
