| "We had a lovely holiday in beijing.
We were very happy in the Best Western hotel.
Only two problems:
The swimming pool was closed again and this is 4 years in a row i have been there.
On this occassion i brought my wife and two daughters
and ordered a taxi at reception.
The black car taxis outside the hotel are ripping people off they are charging 80wan into the shopping malls when price should be 24 wan and charged 200 wan to the airport and was very rude and demanding.(we had agreeded to do it by meter at the hotel which he switched of on entering airport)

| "The hotel was okay. Luckily a Starbucks right outside. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We were very disappointed that the pool was closed due to "repair". We had promised our kids a swim, but it was closed the whole time we were there. The breakfast was okay. The location was a bit away from the main attractions. A nice flea market was about 7 minute walk away." |

| "This is a modern hotel which is very clean and confortable. One thing that must be done urgently is a proper translation of menus and other notices into English. The current attemts are a bit of a joke which surprised me with the Olympic games on the way. It is a Yuen 100 taxi ride away from the airport. This should be made clearer to prospective guests. The swimming pool and sauna were closed when I stayed. " |
