The hotel is absolutely beautiful, it's location is also absolutely beautiful. However I would not return because it is not paricularly child friendly. They do have a kids club, but you have to pay for this even if your a guest of the hotel (I have stayed at hotels all over the world and have never had to pay to use this facility) and unfortunately this is also where th pool is situated, for which you have to pay to use. Furthermore they have no ramps, so if you have a stroller you will constantly be carrying it up and down the stairs. Overall I do not think it is good value for money.

| "Truly great, great location needless to say. I have been to Beijing many time but this trip was the best of all and a large part of the reason was this hotel. You see the Great Wall through your hotel window/ restaurants and it is nothing but amaging. Compare to other top hotels in teh city, service can be improved but still, I would visit the hotel again. Beautiful villas.
Also, you should try their SPA! Hightly recommended!!!" |

| "This place was fabulous in every way. We loved hiking to the hotel's private unrestored section of the Great Wall so much that we did it twice; for sunset and sunrise. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, with great bedding, and the living area of the house was light and spacious with comfortable sofas and chairs. The food was truly delicious. We also enjoyed touring some of the other houses. Massages at the spa were great. Our daughter loved it, too. We hope to return. Note: not for seniors or handicapped, as there are stairs to every room." |
