| "Hotel is out of the way, unfriendly staff, facilities listed on web were not available or were expensive, conflicting information from staff, pool free but outrageous charge for mandatory swimming cap, rates too high for this hotel." |

| "4 star quality large hotel. For Westerners very comfortable. Worthwhile staying at but avoid paying for anything inside the hotel as they try to overcharge at western prices. Better going down the road for and using local shops, facilites. For example the internet at the business centre charged 23 RMB per 10 mins, whereas the internet cafe next door only charged 10 per hour ! Has a lovely park next door with free access for hotel guests, great acrobats, performers etc there. Breakfast
pretty good, but Chinese have no idea about quality jams etc Walk 5 or 10 mins down the road and you start to see non touristy restaurants with great food and excellent prices. A bit far Tianamin Square, but a 15-20 min taxi gets you there for around 17-20 RMB. I liked the location, staff were quite good and reception spoke good English. Mosty Western guests." |

| "Everything was excellent except the location. On the one hand it is at the entrance of grand view park which is beautiful and quiet. So fine for resting and relaxing. However if you want to see the sights, it is quite far from the center of Beijing." |

| "The Hotel was quiet nice, old and about a half an hour cab ride out of Beijing centre. I found it a real problem that hardly any of the hotel staff spoke good english and it made ordering and getting directions very difficult. I would stay there again as the price was right and cabs in Beijing are very cheap." |

| "I thoroughly enjoyed my four night stay here. My room was lovely and spacious, with everything available for a pleasant holiday. The gym, restaurants, room service and ATM etc. were all very convenient. The location could have been more central (it took 30 minutes and cost about 25 yuan by taxi to The Forbidden City), but with cabs that cheap, it wasn't that bad. Be aware of the mini-bar deposit that I wasn't expecting: 300 yuan per night, which is refunded at the end of your stay. All in all, I would strongly recommend this hotel." |

| "The room and facilities were good, the location was on the out skirts of town. The English speaking was poor at times and the tourist desk did provide a fantastic tour to the Great wall and Terracotta Army after lengthy discussions you need to be gentle with them. I would prefare a Hotel in the Centre of Town were you could walk around in the evening. " |
