| "For the money paid, the hotel is great, the location is perfect, not too far from Tianamen square and the forbiden city. Also minutes away from shopping districts (Pearl Market and Silk market) The only downer is they should renew they stock of sheets and towels more often, they look and feel used out, They could also add some english speaking chanels on their TV listing.
But overall and once again for the money paid, the experience is excellent." |

| "I have stayed twice at the Harmony Hotel in May this year on my way to Jinan, Shandong, and on my way back from Guilen,on both occasions I was very happy with the service and rooms that were allocated to me, which were very clean and the bathroom spick and span. The location is fantastic and the food in the dinning room was very reasonable priced. Time and again communicating in English was a problem as most of staff from Harmony spoke Chinese. There is a saying when in Rome do what the Romans do, hence don't expect the comforts of the country that you come from. I was very satisfied and would recommend anyone to Harmony Hotel. I come from Melbourne Australia." |

| "the Harmony hotel is a great place to stay if you want to visit the sights of Beijing as it is only about 20minutes walking distance from tiananmen square and the the forbiddent city. you can also get a subway for about 30 cent....there is one pretty much outside the front door, but if you walk out of the hotel, take a left and at the end of the street take another left, and walk for about 2 mins you can get a subway there, that serves more attractions (tiananmen sq, forbidden city, silk street, wangfujing etc)
the hotel is great, rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were very helpful, they even wrote down landmarks (Bird's nest etc) in chinese so we could show them to a taxi driver, and their english was great too. only slight problem was our twin room was two single beds not a double, this was not their fault so i can't take anything away from them, they were also fully booked and we didn't check in until 7p.m so it was our own fault.
DIRECTIONS:
to get to the hotel by bus this cost €1.60, you buy the bus ticket in the airport, and get bus number three until it makes it's final stop, (about 100metres away from the railways station), when you get off, ignore the locals trying to give you taxis, just walk straight (in the direction the bus is facing) towards the train station, the hotel is across the road from it, (just take the escalator that brings you up the footbridge and go across it) in fact you should be able to see the sign for the hotel when you get off the bus, it's green with gold writing and is to your left when you get out of the bus!!!
i recommend getting the bus to the hotel as there is no hassle if the taxi driver doesn't know where it is, but we get a taxi back to the airport, it takes about 50 mins and costs approx €9, this is easy as you can get the people at reception to call you one to the hotel and you don't have to carry your bags anywhere.
our room didn't have internet but for about €4 extraper day they will put it in your room!! they also gave is adapters for our electronic items for free.
i would definitely recommend this hotel

| "Staying at the Harmony Hotel was perfect for our family. It was near the subway and you could get to more places. It was near the Railway station as well. A few stops by subway to the Tianamen Sq and Forbidden City. It is also walking distance (10 minutes) to a major shopping mall. Taxis are easy to get. There are convenience stores around the area. Restaurant in the hotel was not good. The reception desk could not speak English well but the staff are friendly, courteous, efficient and caring. I would recommend it strongly. This place is good value for money." |

| "We stayed in 2 different rooms one was in need of redecoration and one was ok. the bathroom was very small but clean. however, the facilities were non existant, the bar closed. the breakfast left a lot to be desired. the reception staff and doorman were helpful and friendly although the service is very slow and as in most places in china people push in front whilst you are being dealt with. The area around the hotel is a building site but the cost of the hotel was reflective of this." |
