| "My wife and I stayed at this hotel{room 1004}for 7 days 20th to 27th May 2008.Considering the reasonable cost of the room we were pleasantly surprised at the excellent service we recieved in every aspect of our stay. Our room was spacious, clean and well stocked with toiletries etc. Hotel staff were at all times attentive, calm and professional.Mention must be made of Storm the Conceriege. He seemed to make things happen in a smooth and seamless way.Without him we would have missed seeing many of the cultural highlights of Beijing. The only downside was that the hotel was some distance from the main sights. This was not a big problem as taxis were cheap. All in all a great value hotel. " |

| "Nice hotel with very good service and nice personel.
I recommend it for other travelers.
The location could be a littel better, itīs not so close to Forbidden city and that area, itīs almost twenty minutes with taxi.
Otherwise it is a very good hotel." |

| "Except the location of the hotel we truely enjoyed our stay. A hotel in the west or south west quarters could be much better. However, taxi rates are okay. So it is not a really big deal. You get to see the city by this way more. And the hotel room rates were good also. :)" |

| "I only reserved one night at the Holiday Inn Central Plaza Hotel Beijing because I wasn't sure I wanted to stay there a whole week due to its distance from the central area of Beijing. I found out it's about 20 RMB ($5 US) by taxi to the central area so I firgured the savings in room rate alone was worth it. I ended up staying the whole week.
The hotel itself is extremely clean and well staffed. The restaurant and bar are a little pricey, but we ate out anyway, so it didn't matter.
No complaints really. I'd stay there again." |

| "The standard of this hotel far exceeded my expectations of a holiday inn. We were upgraded to an appartment upon arrival which had its own living area, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.
The Hotel is very modern and comfoftable i eat in on of the restaurants twice and the food and service was excellent and very well priced.
The area around the hotel was a bit down trodden however new pavements and lighting were being put in place as i was there.
Due to the fact that beijing is so large it soon becomes apparent that you are not going to walk from the hotel to may attractions (and i would guess this is the same for most hotels) however taxis are very cheep and the best method to get around( do not even attempt the underground) a taxi to main attractions costs around Ģ4.
In all I found this hotel to be great value for money very welcolming and the service was excellent.

| "- It would have been better if the price included breakfast.
- Lack of English proficiency for the hotel staff, which may have caused misunderstanding. Four-star-hotel should require good english spoken for hotel staff.
- Lack of written published information such as directory of the city, places of interests, city map which are generally provided in the form of flier at other hotels.
Anyway, a good place to short time stay.
