| "Good value for money. Good location. Staff do not speak much English. Taxi drivers have problem finding the place . They always need to make a phone call to the hotel before they can find it. Otherwise enjoyed my stay there.

| "Wonderfully convenient to reach any place in Beijing from there (two undergroung lines plus a number of buses), although the ring road makes it very noisy.
The staff is very nice, although, as usual in China, they can give you no practical indication at the main desk. Fortunately the bell boys are very helpful although they have been spoiled by tourists into expecting tips.
Note that it is practically impossible to get a taxi from Beijing central station as it is so near the hotel. Quite a long way if you have to pull your heavy suitcases, though!" |

| "This is a budgeted hotel where we stayed comfortably. Actually the location is not bad and it is kinda near the metro station, though it is quite hard to find the hotel for the first time..the hotel map provided in this website has insufficient information for us to follow.....for anyone who would like to stay there, if you take hotel shuttle bus, you will get off at Beijing Railway Station and then take metro to Jian Guo Men station - take exit B..then go straight cross the road and go through a little car tunnel and keep going straight, passing by the Gloria Plaza hotel and keep walking...and be aware of the buildings on your left..then you see a hotel sign on your left-hand side..Jian Du Yuan Hotel is there~~
But then the hotel staff are helpful. They gave us clear instruction to sightseeing spots by bus...we love the bus more than metro as it has more to see on the road and cheaper...only 1 rmb per ride.
all in all, we think that the hotel room is good and the floor helper is very efficient when we asked for hot water and assistance for the TV station tuning and other stuff. You can rest assured that the room is clean and up to standard.
we have a very good trip to Beijing...thanks..

| "good location, food was OK, not much of a bar but great cheap massages in the hotel gym. I was quite impressed with the room - everything you needed in there. The hotel books tours to the Great Wall - perhaps not the best tour around - jade factory, chinese hospital first - but it gets you to the Wall - so it didnt bother me too much. A relaxed good place to stay." |

| "This hotel is overrated for me. The rooms are tiny (for China) and the bathroom is really small. It was also really noisy. I think this hotel is not valuable, price is too high. The only that could have justified the price is the pool and the sauna/steam room but once again it is not really fine because it is not free (about 7$ to access) and the pool is not really big..." |
