Very nice hotel in an old Hutong. Nice rooms in chinese style, some of them with private courtyards. very convenient to visit Beijing : not so far from the Forbidden City, tambour tower, lama temple, lakes and the most popular hutongs.

| "We ordered and paid for Deluxeroom and You, Asiarooms changed this to standard room when you told Lu Song Yuan which room standard we should be given!! Without saying nothing to us. You changed our room standard and kept the money!
Hotel Lu Song Yuan contacted you several times on our behalf about this and your Company told them to give us Standard Room.
So this is how you do it on this Hotel (and other Hotels?) and this is serious cheating!!
We will tell other friends about this very bad experience with your Company.
We discussed this with Lu Song Yuan and after 4 days they changed our room to Deluxe as we paid for. We have stayed here before so we knew.
Lu Song Yuan is a ok Hotel with a bad Breakfast." |

| "Very nice and romantic hotel settled in an old chinese house, in Beijing traditional quarters.
Service is very gentle, breakfast ordinary, diner mediocre.
The decoration is nice but somewhat cheap, and the bathroom would bear some refurbishment.
When we were there the streets around were under demolition and taxis could not arrive to the hotel.
The location is not so central, but taxis in Beijing are cheap and very efficient." |

| "Beautiful hotel with amazing courtyards. Excellent location. The bedroom staff and those on the front desk are extremly helpful and friendly. The service in the restuarant is poor and the restuarant staff are not very friendly. However this is not a problem as there are loads of great places to eat just around the corner. " |

| "This hotel was an interesting experience and fitted in with the trip to give me a feel of beijing. I am glad I only syaed there on for two days out of the ten I was there though as it was short on amenities. There was no fridge in the room which I found strange as every other hotel I have ever stayed in has had this facility. It was inconvenient when it came to drinks. The hotel itself is very nice and has a nice old style feel to it. Breakfast shouild be given a miss though..." |

| "From our initial welcome to the help with luggage when we left, the service was outstanding. Advice and personal assistance was available, in good English, at all times. The hutong is not an area for the obsessively tidy, but the hotel itself has such charm and the area such character that we long to return, and would recommend it to any of our friends. The only reason for staying elsewhere would be a fixation on iced water or kettles in rooms." |
