My husband and I just returned from the Novotel Peace Hotel in Beijing having stayed there from May 9 through May 14,2004. We had a wonderful time at the hotel and found the hotel staff to be very friendly and the service excellent. The rooms were very clean and pleasant and the beds very comfortable.The food was very good, we ate mostly at the cafe for breakfast and dinner.We would encourage family and friends to stay at the Novotel Peace hotel and plan to make this hotel our favorite place to stay on future trips.

| "The hotel rooms ( our room was in the main tower ) were very modern, the hotel is in a great location, close to shopping and great food. The staff were bar staff were friendly. Very impressed with this hotel." |

| "We arrived about 10:30 pm to find no hot water in our room. Next morning we contacted Housekeeping, who sent someone to fix the problem.That night there was no hot water again, and Housekeeping's advice was to run the water for 15-20 minutes - very hard to do when you are from drought-stricken South Aust! However we did get hot water in the end. Next morning we saw the Duty Manager, who checked the situation and decided to upgrade us. So we spent the next 3 nights in a beautiful room on the 17th Floor. Consequently we have nothing but praise for our treatment at this Hotel. The service they provided,the superb breakfast each morning, and the friendly and efficient staff throughout the establishment made our stay very enjoyable." |

Only negative comment on the room: king size bed was extremely uncomfortable.
Lunch and dinner prices in the restaurant, are expensive, considering value." |
