Well located for my business needs and convenient to Wang Fu Jing area as well as the Forbidden City and the Metro. Although I was there for 4 nights, circumstances did not allow me to sample facilities other than Breakfast(good) and the Lobby Bar (fair only: a public space is OK for waiting and meetings, but a quieter & more intimate place would be nicer for relaxation and entertainment).
My opinion of the Lobby Bar is not influenced by an unfortunate accident - a waitress tripped and deposited 2 glasses of red wine in my lap! Poor girl was mortified but it was just a simple accident. However, I was disappointed that the hotel did not offer to dry-clean my trousers. In reality, as I was leaving the next day I probably would not have been able to accept, however, it would have been a nice gesture. To be fair, they did waive the red wine bill!
P.S. Despite a fair bit of negative publicity in various blogs, I have found your services reliable and v g value. I have used you 4 times and will continue to consider you in the future.

| "We arrived about 10:30 pm to find no hot water in our room. Next morning we contacted Housekeeping, who sent someone to fix the problem.That night there was no hot water again, and Housekeeping's advice was to run the water for 15-20 minutes - very hard to do when you are from drought-stricken South Aust! However we did get hot water in the end. Next morning we saw the Duty Manager, who checked the situation and decided to upgrade us. So we spent the next 3 nights in a beautiful room on the 17th Floor. Consequently we have nothing but praise for our treatment at this Hotel. The service they provided,the superb breakfast each morning, and the friendly and efficient staff throughout the establishment made our stay very enjoyable." |
