Fantastic hotel, excellent location with Tian'anmen and the Forbidden city within a twenty minute walk. The shopping district is just around the corner and the night market is on the same street. The hotel restaurant is very good, if not a little expensive. There were no hidden charges that I was expecting from other Beijing hotel reviews, the staff spoke very good English and were very courteous. If I were to stay in Beijing again I would definately stay at the Peninsula.
