| "Great hotel and fantastic value compared to hotels in England. Upgraded to executive club for a very modest price. Rooms and facilities excellent. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a convenient location to all major attractions in Beijing.I would certainly stay in this hotel again." |

| "Presidential Plaza is conveniently located near the Fuchengmen subway station (about 3-5 minutes' walk). From the subway station, it's really easy to access attractions like the Forbidden City, Wang Fu Jing and Yong He Gong (Lama Temple) quickly and economically. From opposite the hotel, you can take a direct bus to the Summer Palace.
The service that my husband and I received while staying there is at best mediocre. We requested for a non-smoking room and king-sized bed when making a reservation. When we arrived, we were given a smoking level. We then asked to change to a non-smoking room but they could only offer a double-bed arrangement on a non-smoking floor so we had to settle for that.
The shower was bad - the shower rose had water spraying everywhere but on me. There was also a leak somewhere in the cubicle that caused the water to seep onto the bathroom floor around the enclosed cubicle, drenching the bath mat in a pool of accumulated water.
Having said that, the wake-up calls were quite on-time, and the guest service officer whom I spoke with to ask for advice on getting around was excellent.
Also, for fitness enthusiasts like me who make it a point to get their morning workout routines in even when travelling, the hotel has a very decent gym with a full range of cardio equipment, free weights and a couple of machine weights. During my 5-day stay at Presidential Plaza, the gym was quiet in the early mornings.
Overall, this hotel is good value for money and I will definitely consider staying there again during my next visit." |

| "I have only stayed in one hotel in China but I have travelled around the world so I can rate this hotel based only upon others outside of China BUT I found it far superior to my expectations as far as price and quality goes.
The rooms are quite comfortable and the bathroom was large enough and had all the accessories required by a traveler.
The only drawback I suffered was that there are absolutely no budget restaurants on site and the price of a meal would be in excess of what I ended up spending for one night at the hotel.
To circumvent this small problem one can just walk out of the front door and experience a myriad of less-expensive,local eateries including the omnipresent Macdonalds.
Overall I was quite delighted with this hotel and it far exceeded my expectations.." |
