| "As the hotel location is just a few meter from Wang Fu Jing street (walking street), with full of shopping malls, it is very easy for travellers to have shopping, have standing diner along the stalls that sell various food.
The other advantages, the nearest subway is only around 200 meter (using the small road behind the hotel), as travelling by subway (though we should prestudy the subway routes first) is very enjoyable, fast and cheap. With only fixed 2 RMB/ single route, we travel to the very end of the various route that drive us to various tourist places.
Catholic church is jut besides the hotel, making the catholic people can worship their faith. " |

| "I have used this hotel on several occasions. My recommendation after my stay in December 2005 is still quoted on the home page for the hotel on www.Asiarooms.com. I have little to add to my earlier recommendation. I like this hotel, that's why I come back.

| "The Songhe was a real find. Location excellent. On site food was good and many eating options within a block. Staff friendly and helpful. They even helped with getting a perscription. Hope to come back soon." |

| "ok enough place to lay your head if you are on a budget but internet access is a bit of a hassle so not really good for business trip (which was my reason for being there). Business center prices high even by western price standards (about 80p to print one page). rooms good sized, but a bit run down- however they are pretty clean and the location is good. a welcome feature for non Chinese speakers was the international news channels included int he tv offering." |

| "We stayed at this hotel for seven days in September 2006. Everything was perfect. Location, helpful staff, hotel facilities. Very comfortable and modern triple room on the 11th floor, a good breakfast buffet. An excellent value for the money. We really enjoyed our stay at the Songhe Hotel, and we would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Beijing.

| "The location of this hotel was perfect for my purposes - sight-seeing and shopping. I could walk to many sites and the bus to other major streets ran right past the hotel. The reception people were very friendly and helpful and the room was a decent size and clean. I was not impressed with the restaurant and so only ate one meal there (dinner buffet), but there were lots of other restaurants nearby." |
