| "The location of the hotel is very good and is within easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the train station. The rooms have been recently redecorated and are very nice for the price. The bathroom was also nice and clean and the shower worked like a charm.
The hotel restaurant was the downside. A nice but simple buffet breakfast was 202 RMB for my wife and I which is high for this part of China. Order the American breakfast from the menu which is 65 RMB excluding the 15% tax. We also had a light dinner one night and the food was very poor and the cost high. The best bet is to eat outside the hotel.
The hotel was generally too warm and stuffy. They need to reduce the heat settings by at leats 3 degrees C and ensure the air is curculating. We managed to cool our room down by turning off the heat and openning the window to the max which was less than an inch and slept comfortably.

| "Would you like my honest opinion????
I was very disappointed with Ramada Dalian ... because the hotel was under extensive remodeling renovations.
There were no services.....no swimming pool, no health club, no sauna, no massage service, a reduced room service menu, and no bar.
So what was I paying for?
I was also disappointed that there was no bath tub in my room, only a shower stall. Even the clock in the room didn't work because of the remodeling....so I was upset that I paid for a full service hotel and got NO services..... I was really upset because I had traveled a long way and this was my first vacation in a long time.
The people on staff were very good and I thank them for that.

| "The hotel is relatively all right given its price and its very convenient location - close to many shops and restaurants.
The only problem was that we had booked the room for two occupancy and naturally breakfast for two. However, the hotel insisted that we had only booked/paid for one breakfast. To make the story short, it took 5 conversations with the hotel staff and the hotel management PLUS getting a print out from my room reservation confirmation to convince the hotel staff that I had actually paid for 2 breakfasts. In their defence, I should say that once the situation was resolved, we had a good stay otherwise.
