| "The lobby is spectacular but unfortunately that's where it stops. The room was not ready on arrival (mid afternoon) so we were given a drink voucher for the bar. We ordered a club sandwich was was cold and stale costing over £6! A coffee is £4. The room needs upgrading and very hard beds. The chinese restuarant on the 1st floor is nothing special. The bar in the evening is London west end prices.
Not bad location but try the White Swan by the river..." |

| "Check in was ok, apart from the woman said 'only twin beds available now OK?' when I said no, a double became avaiable quickly. Check in was typical of a Chinese hotel. Quick, miserable and they are doing you a favour by letting you stay there. However, thats only the first two mintues. The rest of the stay was lovely.
Lots of helpful staff showing us to the lifts. The room was ok, a little tired and old. but clean and a good size. TV was fine and had some English channels and we ordered breakfast in bed which was fantastic. Arrived on time, very nicely set out.
I was staying with my husband this time and I have been before and when I stayed under my company name it was around the same rate but a much, much nicer room. The hotel obviously likes business travellers better than private.
Great lobby, has shops in build into the complex, restuarants around the corner and is a good location. I would not feel really safe walking around there at night though, get that impression that its a little seedy.
we stayed for one night only but check out was quick and organised and everyone (apart from Check in girl) was friendly. Would stay again. " |
