| "We stayed there for only one night and liked espacially the view on the rivers, the gym and the pool. Very friendly staff. Didnīt try the restaurants as there are too many possibilities in town. Charme of the late 70ies/early 80ies." |

| "We had a nice stay at the white swan. However, the rules at the swimmingpool are a bit difficult to relate to. My 7 year old daughter was not allowed to swim because she did not have bikini top.
The service at the concierge was excellent." |

| "A very good hotel. Location is nice -Shamian island is a calm resort compared to the bustle of the rest of the city around it. I find that for certain services the price level is quite high for China -the in-room internet being a perfect example. But there's Starbucks just round the corner to offer free WLAN for its customers. A limo can easily be ordered to pick you up from the airport. If you have any more luggage or just want to avoid knotty negotiations with the taxi driver use it. (If you use a taxi it should be around 120-130RMB from Baiyun airport.) The staff at White Swan mostly speaks good English and the service there is excellent. You may wish to consider booking a riverside room just for the view -ask for high floor though." |
