| "The hotel is a cheaper, carbon copy of the well established Meritus Mandarin chain throughout the world.
Room amenities are what you would expect of a Mandarin room, but closer examination will review their inferior quality. There is no flat screen LCD TV yet, but you will get a nice selection of local and international channels
This hotel is great for ASEAN traveller too as they provide 3 or 2 plug power socket so that you need not bring yours. Food at Chatterbox is the best. Try the famous Hainanese Chicken Rice or the seafood hor fun.
The spread for the breakfast and the dinner buffet at the italian restaurant is not on par with international standard though.
Location is poor but there is really nothing great to do at Haikou. It is a good place to have a secret rendezvous or having a comfortable room to hibernate." |

| "Rooms are great, very clean and well maintained. Two thumbs-up for services from all the staffs! They are very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are great! Many food varieties to choose from. Basically, there's nothing much to complain about, except for the location which needs about 20 mins drive to the city centre. " |

| "Yes, I would recommend it. I think it should be made clear the complimentary airport transfer is only from the airport to town, and not back to the airport. The hotel and all services including breakfast were excellent." |

| "This hotel is a good hotel and a real value for the money. The only thing that was a bother during my visit was the fact that they were doing some maintenance painting and the odor from the paint was too strong in the common areas and elevators. Didn't notice it too much in the room. The staff that I dealt with were very personable and pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to all business people going to Haikou." |
