This is a real gem of a hotel. Not overtly flashy but with a superb location, good, well appointed and clean rooms plus helpful staff. It well deserves its 4 star rating. We were very impressed with Business Centre - the best I have ever seen with great views over West lake as a bonus. The bowl of fresh fruit in the room (replenished daily) is a nice touch. The hotel is in easy walking distance of West Lake and is a good alternative to the more expensive lakeside hotels as you do not sacrifice very much in walking a couple of blocks to get to one of China's most scenic attractions. The staff were attentive and helpful.
