Hotel is located across the street from Stalin Park, which is good for the Ice Lantern Festival. Location is also good for shopping, etc.
The hotel brochure advertises a Western restaurant, but all the menus were in Chinese and staff did not speak English.
The room accommodations were about average for China and hotel staff were helpful, although none spoke an appreciable amount of English. Travelers staying here are advised to carry a good English-Chinese dictionary with written Chinese words included.
Breakfast buffet is included with room, but items are mostly for Chinese tastes.
