"The rooms here are still probably the best in Lhasa, but they are very overpriced. It is souless place with no atmosphere. The hotel is 5-10 minute taxi ride/20-25 minute walk to the old (interesting) part of town. There are other hotels in this old area that are well located with roof-top bars, views of mountains etc that you should consider instead."
