| "My hubby and I overall were satisfied with this hotel. From the moment we stepped into the hotel,were treated very well, and found the reception staff extremely helpful, very courteous and friendly. The gentleman who checked us in (sorry I did not get his name) was so kind and knowledgeable, especially when giving us directions on how to get around. The next morning, we also asked for some help from 2 other gents at the reception desk, who once again, spoke good English and helped us tremendously with advise/directions.
With regards to the food and beverage area, a Mr. Frank Fan was extremely helpful in ensuring our meals were excellent; often, he would recommend a great meal for two, whether it was on the menu or not. Our final dinner was superb, with a freshest scallop and vegetable dish, suggested by Frank. Of course all these wonderful dinners were enjoyed with a cold and famous Tsingtao beer.
The room was always clean (again good cleaning service), although the carpet could be changed (we think it is getting old and worn out). Great location i.e. walking distance to the old part of Qingdao, and a short taxi ride to the modern part of "downtown"." |
