Nice hotel with good view and big rooms. My daughter loves the room balcony most.
Staff at the belldesk is very helpful and patience. He has gone all the way to help us to look for a transport to Wenchang. A pity I did not get his name. Thumb up for his good job.
Duty manager Ms Lilian is very efficient, she has helped us to retrieve our passport in the room safe which we have forgotten to clear and have the documents sent to Haigou on the same day which is a couple of hours away from Sanya.
Will definite recommend this hotel to my colleagues and friends.

| "Generally staff members were courteous enough. They, however, have to go that 'extra mile' when unusual requests are made. For example, I asked for a small piece of bread to feed the fish but was told I had to pay for it.
Communicating with non-Mandarin speaking guests was made that much more difficult because very few staff spoke English, except for the buffet diner supervisor, who was the most impressive of all the staff.
Golfing in Sanya was prohibitively expensive. Resort must be able to make some kind of arrangements with the golf clubs for guests to play at special rates, like corporate members. We spent close to RMB 9000 for 5 rounds of golf for two persons. We would not be able to recommend friends to play golf in Sanya. Also courtesy transportation to and from the golf clubs (less than a five minute drive from Cactus) was not available.
There were no comprehensive tour itineraries to interest guests. " |
