| "Holiday Inn Yalong Bay is definitely not a five star service and facility. Although the beach is nice and clean, the room is a good size, the service quality of its staff is shockingly poor. Especially the front desk staff were unhelpful and unfriendly when we approach them. Got bill threw in front of me when I checked out without any 'thank you' or 'hope to see you again'. I suggest Holiday Inn's management conduct the same training to its staff worldwide so the brand image will be consistant. " |

| "The staff are very friendly and helpful but generally we feel that the management needs to be better and the facilities improved. The hotel is geared to large business groups whose presence dominates the hotel. Communication is very poor e.g. which evenings are there pool-side buffets, cost of buffets, tourist information and what is the evening "fire" ritual performed outside the hotel. The Western cafe is very drab and uninviting, and the Coco bar menu is stodgy. We stayed here 4 years ago but standards have gone down; we will not be returning." |

| "I stayed in the hotel three nights and I felt very good. The staff is very kind, helpful and always available for everything.
The room was always clean and the laundry service efficient. Also with the business center I didn't have any problems.
The restaurant "The Cafe" offers an ample choice of meals and the bar "Coco bar" always gave me excellent juices.
I really advise the hotel, above all for couples, seniors or families." |
