I encountered courtesy, but disappointment in service - two requests for a power adapter and delivery of the newspaper China Daily only happened on a third request to the Australian and French Visitor's Services assistant. They were extremely helpful, with the adapter and setting up the internet, but I gave up asking for China Daily. However it was an excellent hotel and amazing value for money. The porters and doormen were very helpful and courteous. The main reason I would prefer another hotel is location. It was a little out of the way from most of my business. Nevertheless, I will strongly recommend it to other travellers.
