| "Room is spacious. However front desk service need to be improved (especially for foreigners who do not speak mandarin). The lifts close too quickly, was almost squashed by the doors on a few occasions. A bg plus is for its location - the subway is literally on its door step. Since only spent time sleeping in hotel, can't comment on any other facilities. The breakfast buffet is so so. " |

| "I didn't believe the review I read about the front desk clerk. I thought it might be just language. However, I realized I was wrong. This person who did the check-out will be one of the reasons I don't want to use the facility again. However, I have note that asiarooms handled the cancelation request professionally. I'll definitedly use the service again." |

| "I wanted the facilities of the room, but they can improve the breakfast. Should teach the staff especially the front desk staff to learn to speak and understand english. " |

| "Had a lovely time hotel perfect, only grumble was the breakfast not catered enough for westerners but as it was only a short trip can't really complain too much.
Otherwise really enjoyed our short stay in Shanghai never know we may come back one day lovely polite people.

| "Stayed at this hotel twice whilst in China in November 2006. When I booked this hotel I was rather nervous as to what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I paid a little bit extra for the superior standard of room and what I got was superb. The room was massive both times with facilities more in keeping with a 4/5 star hotel with good views over the surrounding area. The desk staff spoke good english and were very helpful with queries which was appreciated as it was my first time in China.
The hotel is located right by the Jing'an Temple metro stop - ideal for getting round Shanghai and a two minute walk from the bus station where the number 2 bus from Pudong Airport will take you non-stop for 19 Yuan.
Altogether a good value for money base for visiting Shanghai and will be an automatic choice for when I return.
